Wisdom in the Age of AI presentation
Presentations
Calvin University hosted the Wisdom in the Age of AI Conference in early October 2026. My colleague Jeremy VanAntwerp and I developed a presentation entitled
Emissions, impacts, and embodiment: A techno-economic sustainability analysis of AI data centers
The presentation was Jeremy’s idea. He had the keen insight to apply three types of Biblical wisdom to issues surrounding environmental sustainability of data centers. I assisted with developing Sankey disgrams of datacenter material and energy flows. Together, we honed the presentation over many meetings, starting in late summer. Jeremy presented.
